Back in Langkawi and getting ready for Ironman Malaysia.

I finally made it back to Langkawi. It was a trip. One flight was over 20hours and I could not sleep in the plain. And getting out, I got the wet slam in my face. Man it is hot (85F) and humid here. I keep you all updated --- Kjell

I´m leaving today for Malaysia. It will be hard to leave and the climate change is gonna take allot from me. Here in Moscow we have arround 20F and tons of snow. On Langkawi there will be arround 100F and sun/sun/sun!

It finally arrived, I mean my christmas presents for Blake and her family, finally arrived. Well, it "just" took them over a month. I got told 4-6 business-days. the snow fight ...

Some athlets fighting in deserts, I fight the snow and the temperaturs. I was a painfull run this morning. We had 6Fahrenheit or in Metric -14 C but it feels allot colder, because of the wind. Honestly I´m struggeling a little bit, so after the 14k run, I will do the rest of the training today inside. But I have to get there --- Kjell

back in Moscow ...

I´m back in Moscow. Right in the deep snow! Wow, in most parts of germany, we would be so happy about some snow. Happy snowfall --- Kjell

beeing on the road ...

I´m on the road and it was such a stressfull trip so far. Leaving Hamburg with one of the first flights, challenging the carry on security checks. The plain started late and I wasn´t sure how much time I have in London, but I had plenty. Thats what I thought, without having the big issue of my tickets. I bocked my Ger-US and back ticket for a good price and it has a couple month inbetween. Way to much for the immigration standards in the US. Didn´t wanna case any trouble, but I got trouble. I didn´t had a ticket leaving the US within 90 days, so they didn´t wanted to give me the tickets to Chicago. They finally helped me and I got the tickets, in the plain and in the US. Writing this from Chicago and getting back in the US. Later the day I will be back in Moscow and probably stuck in the snow ... happy training --- Kjell

I´m leaving today at 7:45am and hope to have a better day than yesterday. Nothing went smothly, realy nothing!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry to everyone I yelled at. It was not my day ... I will travel to Moscow and get some training done for the Ironman Malaysia in February. Lets smile --- Kjell

tour back home

Today we drove my grandmo home. Home is Travemünde on the Baltic Sea and it looked like a wonderfull day. Sunshine and some blue sky, ok it was cold, but ... I started after a tea and some snacks. I was allright a little cold, but not to bad and than after an good hour I saw the first snow. Oh no, the temperature droped and I had to ride in snow and hail. Getting closer to Hamburg, the weather got better and I was finally happy to be home, did my little run and had a hot shower. I was supprised that my mom wasn´t back. She got stuck in traffic and it took her 1h longer than me. That is the first time I bet her on my bike against the car...
