We are makeing records in minutes here in the Northwest. Most snow in 24h for many many years, low temperatures. Here thats what you find those days about the area: "Record 12.5" Snow yesterday (150% more than old record of 5"). 17" total snow for the last 30 hours and still snowing. This is Interstate 90."
