The twelve days if Christmas
"The Twelve Days of Christmas is probably the most misunderstood part of the church year among Christians who are not part of liturgical church traditions. Contrary to much popular belief, these are not the twelve days before Christmas, but in most of the Western Church are the twelve days from Christmas until the beginning of Epiphany (January 6th; the 12 days count from December 25th until January 5th). In some traditions, the first day of Christmas begins on the evening of December 25th with the following day considered the First Day of Christmas (December 26th). In these traditions, the twelve days begin December 26 and include Epiphany on January 6." [source: Dennis Bratcher] --- Kjell

Christmas markets
There are so many Christmas markets in Hamburg. Where shall we go?
"Christmas Markets in Hamburg
Discover history, tradition and a Hanseatic heritage at one of Hamburg's many wonderful Christmas markets.
The prettiest is set just outside Hamburg's most impressive town hall. Hosted by Roncalli's Circus, you will discover lots of lovingly decorated stalls, filled with hand-crafted Christmas decorations from the Erzgebirge region and looked after by woodcarvers from Tyrol, bakers form Aachen, producing their famous “printen” cookies on the scene or gingerbread makers from Nuremberg, pottery from the Lausitz region. Silversmiths and many other artisans and craftsmen invite you to marvel, join in, taste or simply enjoy this fantastic atmosphere." [source: HH christmas markets]... and of course one or two hot wines! --- Kjell

Are you addicted to running marathons?
Do your thoughts switch to the next scheduled race immediately after finishing a marathon?
Are you signed up for more than one race right now?
Do you know specifics about many of the marathons? Dates, courses, years run, etc.?
Do you know the story of how the marathon got started? Also why the course is 26.2 miles?
Do you read books on marathons like Marathon and Beyond?
Is www.marathonguide.com book marked on your computer? Do you look at the race schedule more than once a week?

Saint Nicholas
"The tradition of Saint Nicholas Day, usually on 6 December, is a festival for children in many countries in Europe related to surviving legends of the saint, and particularly his reputation as a bringer of gifts. The American Santa Claus, as well as the Anglo-Canadian and British Father Christmas, derive from these legends. "Santa Claus" is itself derived from the Dutch Sinterklaas." Hot Stuff
I made some Hot Stuff. I love it spicy and making your own hot sauce or chili oil is the best thing you can have.
And good old memories come with burning hands and the thought: "I should have taken out my contacts before doing the cutting! Oh well ...!" On Hawaii cutting chili´s was my daily routine, we loved it.
It is so easy: cut chili´s depending on spic-level, olive oil, sea salt and a nice container withe Biest on.
