Dear Airlines ...

where did you lose your customer service. Employees are rude, they don`t want to help and the best thing if they mess up it is my fault.
Problem, you cannot get around them, if you have to travel.

Here and impression of my christmas present box from my last trip back home from germany. This damage was done between SanFrancisco and Spokane.

The twelve days if Christmas

"The Twelve Days of Christmas is probably the most misunderstood part of the church year among Christians who are not part of liturgical church traditions. Contrary to much popular belief, these are not the twelve days before Christmas, but in most of the Western Church are the twelve days from Christmas until the beginning of Epiphany (January 6th; the 12 days count from December 25th until January 5th). In some traditions, the first day of Christmas begins on the evening of December 25th with the following day considered the First Day of Christmas (December 26th). In these traditions, the twelve days begin December 26 and include Epiphany on January 6." [source: Dennis Bratcher] --- Kjell

Christmas markets

There are so many Christmas markets in Hamburg. Where shall we go?
"Christmas Markets in Hamburg
Discover history, tradition and a Hanseatic heritage at one of Hamburg's many wonderful Christmas markets.
The prettiest is set just outside Hamburg's most impressive town hall. Hosted by Roncalli's Circus, you will discover lots of lovingly decorated stalls, filled with hand-crafted Christmas decorations from the Erzgebirge region and looked after by woodcarvers from Tyrol, bakers form Aachen, producing their famous “printen” cookies on the scene or gingerbread makers from Nuremberg, pottery from the Lausitz region. Silversmiths and many other artisans and craftsmen invite you to marvel, join in, taste or simply enjoy this fantastic atmosphere." Saint Nicholas

"The tradition of Saint Nicholas Day, usually on 6 December, is a festival for children in many countries in Europe related to surviving legends of the saint, and particularly his reputation as a bringer of gifts. The American Santa Claus, as well as the Anglo-Canadian and British Father Christmas, derive from these legends. "Santa Claus" is itself derived from the Dutch Sinterklaas." 6th of January

"Epiphany (from Koine Greek ἐπιφάνεια "appearance", "manifestation") is a Christian feast day which celebrates the revelation of God made Man in the person of Jesus Christ. It falls on January 6 or on a Sunday close to that date. January 6 in the Julian Calendar, which is followed by some Eastern Churches, corresponds at present to January 19 in the Gregorian Calendar, which is the official civil calendar in most countries. On this day, Western Christians commemorate principally the visitation of the Biblical Magi to the child Jesus, i.e., his manifestation to the Gentiles; Eastern Christians commemorate the baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River, seen as his manifestation to the world as the Son of God. It is also called Theophany, especially by Eastern Christians." [source: wikipedia] --- Kjell
